Meet Your 2026 Tennis Creates Gala Co-Chairs

For the second year in a row, Michele and Andrew Brammer are back at the helm of the USTA Mid-Atlantic Gala. Tennis is the Brammer family’s unofficial operating system, and “Brammertime” is the rallying cry that keeps everyone moving in sync.

Andrew, a longtime Fannie Mae executive and current Deputy CRO for Financial Risks, spends his days navigating capital markets and credit risk—and his evenings trying (with mixed success) to match Michele’s intensity on the court. His strategic mindset and calm under pressure make him a natural fit for gala leadership, where he brings the same steady presence he brings to both his work and his topspin.

Michele rediscovered tennis in 2018 at Lakewood Country Club and immediately reignited her competitive spark. Since then, she’s rocketed from a 3.5 to a 4.5 player, collected five USTA national championships across multiple divisions, and held the title of Lakewood Country Club Women’s Champion for five straight years. Off the court, she runs the Brammer household with championship-level energy, humor, and precision—earning her the well-deserved title of President and CEO of the family.

For the Brammers, tennis isn’t just a sport; it’s the soundtrack of their family life. From weekend matches to national tournaments to sideline cheering sessions, it’s the thread that ties their world together. Returning as Co-Chairs in 2026 feels like coming home—another chance to celebrate a sport that has given them community, purpose, and countless memories.
